When: During show hours

This breath-taking, memorable and curated exhibit will present important prints, (lithographs, woodcuts and mezzotints) drawings and watercolors by the genius artist M. C. Escher (Maurits Cornelis Escher). In his famous images, Escher creates picture puzzles that confuse convex and concave, inside and outside, depth and height. Our fairgoers must penetrate the logic of the images, in order to uncover something of true reality. However, the viewer is confronted with only the limitation of his senses when he tries to focus on subject matter that is non-existent. Loaned and curated by Rock Walker, from his personal collection – the second largest in private hands in the world. This is a first time showing in Philly to experience and discover these world famous and magical works by the renowned graphic artist and mathematician.
